Do you know how to operate injection machine and what you should pay attention in injection machine operation? How to adjust the parameter for injection mould? We are injection machine and plastic mould manufacture; following list some attention points for injection machine operation.
1. Connected power and make sure the water, power, and air working correctly.
2. Start autoloader and dryer; check the hot runner system, make sure all the connector is correct, then open the cooling water and hot runner system.
3. Open the main power; check the heating system, power supply.
4. Heating the injection machine (heating ring), make sure the temperature is correct for the product.
5. Check the oil tank and lubricating oil, make sure injection machine oil is adequate.
6. Start the injection machine; check if the motor and pump working well. If there any problem, start the motor after exclude the problem. Machine Hydraulic system need the oil temperature higher than 30℃.
7. Lubricate the injection machine, for clamping system and other moving parts.
8. Opening the mould by manual, clear the mould, and make sure the mould cavity and core is in good condition; check the mould actions, such as sliders, ejector pin, or oil cylinders.
9. Lubricate the mould moving parts. After clean and lubrication, make sure the slider or other moving parts in the correct position (the same as the mould open).
10. Checking the stroke switch and safety device of injection machine.
11. Make sure molding parameter is suitable for the production.
12. Use low pressure and low speed to check the mould action (open and close mould, push and return the ejector pin, oil cylinders action, and injection unit moving), make sure above action is work smoothly. When you moving the injection unit, make sure the mould is closed.
13. After injection machine temperature is reach to set value, keep this temperature for 10-30mins, and then make plasticizing and injection. (when you test the plasticizing and injection, use 30% pressure and speed of set value, use inching )
14. Running the injection machine and mould by manual or semi-automatic for 10-20 shots. Check the mould and machine condition. If all themachine operation is working well, then make production automatically.
15. At beginning of production, review the product and machine working condition, pay attention to the temperature for mould and hydraulic oil. (recommended machine oil 45-50℃. extreme value 30-60℃,stop production if the temperature is higher than 60℃ )

I heard from a customer that he have bought second hand injection machine. Because itis cheaper than new machine. We are plastic mould andinjection machine manufacture; we think that is not cost-effective to buy a second hand machine, because most second hand injection machine in the market is eliminated.
Injection molding machine like a car, it must have problem if it working for long time. If you are professional in injection machine, you can check the second hand injection machine; but if you don't know injection machine well, second hand machine market is not regular like you buy a new machine, you may lost the time and money in that market.
Second hand injection machine don't have warranty, people sale old machine out mostly because that machine have problem. Anyway, second hand machine must have different degrees of abrade, such as screw, barrel, nozzle, clamping screw and screw hole, etc. It will bring you additional repairing cost. Besides, some second hand machine use old versions computer, it may not able to reach some mould action in injection molding.
In addition, second hand injection machine will need more power than new injection machine, and it may have problem in valve, hydraulic system and plasticizing motor, that is not easy to find out. When you buy a second hand machine, you are ready to prepare some cost for machine repairing; but no one knows if the machine can working stable after repairing.

How to increase the production efficiency is meaningful for the mass production industry.Nowadays in the injection molding industry,the injection speed is more and more developed in order to satisfy this requirement.
For the injection molding machines,except high speed injection molding machine with accumulator,now the types such as hybrid injection molding machine,fully electric injection molding machine and so on.The injection speed is raised much to reduced the cycle time.We could add some devices to realize three axis linkage(material charging,mould open and ejection),that could reduce machine cycle time obviously.

Maintenance to injection molding machine is very important, as injection machine clamping units always under high pressure and high speed, so proper adjustment and preventive maintenance is very important to prolong the machine life.
1. Maintenance to machine moving parts
Machine moving plate under high speed movement, so we should do good lubrication between the plate and tie bar. For the machine clamping unit with toggle link structure, the toggle always under movement, good lubrication can avoid damage. If machine stop work, the clamping unit cannot be closed under high pressure for long time, to avoid the broken of toggle.
2. Maintenance to the surface of clamping plate
Machine clamping plate always have high requirement on tooling precision and surface finish. It is an important loop to ensure machine life. Before installation the mould on machine, generally, it needs to paint some oil on the clamping plate to avoid oxidation and corrosion. As to mould, the surface which attaché to machine must smooth, it can ensure good clamping and avoid damage of the mould and machine. Besides, the fix screw and other fix parts should be checked carefully, it must suitable for the machine.
